A calm evening entices Canoeing, and so that’s what happened. Morrison Lake is small
enough to go from end-to-end in under half an hour, and large enough to spend a day
paddling slowly around in lazy circles. At the far end, heading back to the put-in location,
I was struck by the stillness of both air and water.
