A deep valley through which winds a small river. Along the river is a narrow unpaved road.
After several years living on the Ocean coast, I was captivated by how tall and straight the trees grow;
quite unlike the ones that are stunted and bent by the salt spray in the winter winds.
A few evergreens surrounded by hardwoods; memories will soon enough be all we have of this place.
