It seems most Villages, Towns, and Cities are in some way connected to water, and such is the case with Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.
Bordering on the Atlantic Ocean and intersected by Renwick Brook (as well as other, smaller streams) “The Bay” has always depended on the water.
Several years ago, an industrious Mayor undertook the task of beautifying the area surrounding the brook, and installed a walking trail, street lamps,
Flower Gardens, and made it welcoming for residents and visitors alike. Strolling along the trail, I spotted this in the near distance.
I waited until there were no pedestrians on the bridge since I don’t feel comfortable including people without their acknowledgement or permission.
