I grew up in this valley, on the Nashwaak River in Central New Brunswick. Having taken it for granted for the first
20 years of my life, I long to return now as often as possible. While my mother was alive I tried to visit on her Birthday
and so it was on this day in 2019. I love how the oranges of the Maple tree peeking around the Blue Spruce
juxtapose both against the others, still wearing their summer foliage.
