In 1758, Major-General James Wolfe landed near Fortress Louisbourg Nova Scotia prior to sailing up the
Saint Lawrence River to defeat the French at the Plains of Abraham. This tiny stream
flows into the Atlantic Ocean within sight of where he and his crew came ashore.
