Where MacAskill’s Brook begins to widen before entering the Atlantic Ocean, is what remains
of a trestle where railway line once crossed. The raised rail beds are now growing up with trees
and alder bushes, but one can still find a place to watch the sun set on a December afternoon.
Near Glace Bay, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Dec 30, 2020
